What is the closest airport?
The closest airport to the retreat is Liberia International Airport (Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport - LIR). It is approximately 1.5 hours away.
How do I get from the airport to the retreat?
From the airport, you have the option of taking a shuttle or renting a car.
If you are looking for a shuttle service, I highly recommend Colibri Transportation owned by Jose Hernandez. He is a friend and neighbor and we use him exclusively when we travel. He speaks both English and Spanish and will have a driver waiting for you outside the airport once you arrive.

I recommended downloading WhatsApp for communication while in Costa Rica.
Another option, especially if you are planning to extend your stay surrounding the retreat, is to rent a car at the airport.
Does the price include everything once we get to the retreat?
Yes! The price includes lodging, meals, workshops and ceremonies.
Is there a cancellation policy?
The retreat pricing is paid in full at the time of booking.
Should you need to cancel, there is a 50% refund (minus transaction fees) available through October 6th, 2026.
After October 6th, 2026 no refund is available.
What should I bring?
January is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Costa Rica. It is typically hot with a steady breeze. I would advise bringing sunscreen or a light covering for the sun and bug spray for the occasional mosquitoes. As it is dry season, it doesn't typically rain this time of year.
You will need a swimsuit for the blue clay ceremony at the beach, closed toe walking shoes for the forest walk and a light dress for the temazcal (something you don't mind getting dirty as we will be sitting on the earth).
